You can also have a hands-on experience learning from local Cambodians there on how to farm butterflies and how they keep caterpillars safe. "Definitely worth a visit", said tourists who visit the Butterfly Garden.
6. Prasat Entrea Pagoda - Siem Reap
Location: National Road 6, Siem Reap
Siem Reap is worldly renowned as a home to hundreds of magnificent ancient temples. But not all temples there are age-old. This white temple named Prasat Entrea was recently built by Cambodian's architects. As the temple locates in a pagoda and is viewed as a religious structure, visitors can expect to enjoy the quietness and the spectacular view of the temple itself.
7. Lory Bamboo Train - Battambang
Location: Chheu Teal Village, Banon District, Battambang
As a new attraction in Battambang, the railway-inspired Lory Bamboo Train has grabbed tourists' attention from every corners both inside and outside Cambodia. When riding on the train, you can enjoy fresh air along the green fields while taking pictures of the scenic view of Mount Banon. At the other end of the rail, there is also a beautiful flower-filled garden as well as indigenous people's houses where you can visit.
The bamboo train can carry five or six passengers, and a round trip on the distance of 8 kilometres around Mount Banon's base can take up to 45 minutes. According to a Bamboo Train driver, there are not many passengers on weekdays. But on weekends, the trains are fully packed.
8. Dong Te - Kampot
Location: Mak Preang Commune, Teuk Chhu District, Kampot
Dong Te is arguably the best hidden tourist spot in Kampot Province. Surrounded by coconut trees, mountain views, and a large beautiful Kampot River, Dong Te provides a great place for you to relax in a hut-like bar or on the beach and enjoy other fun activities, including paddle boarding, fishing boat trips, zip lining, and bathing in Teuk Chhu rapids and waterfalls.
